Black Grape Juice
Ingredients:
- 2 cups black grapes (washed and stemmed)
- 1-2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 cup water
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Grapes:
Wash the black grapes thoroughly under running water and remove the stems. Make sure they are clean and free of any debris.
Blend the Grapes:
Place the washed grapes into a blender or food processor. Add the sugar to the grapes. The amount of sugar you use depends on your preference and the sweetness of the grapes. Start with 1-2 tablespoons and adjust according to taste.
Add Water:
Pour in the water to facilitate blending and to adjust the thickness of the juice. If you prefer a thicker juice, you can reduce the amount of water.
Blend:
Blend the grapes, sugar, and water on high speed until you have a smooth and well-mixed juice. This usually takes about 1-2 minutes.
Strain the Juice:
To remove any seeds and pulp, strain the grape mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean pitcher or bowl. You can press down on the solids in the strainer to extract as much juice as possible.
Chill and Serve:
If desired, add ice cubes to the juice to make it cold and refreshing. Stir the juice well and serve it immediately in a glass. You can also refrigerate it for a while before serving.
This homemade black grape juice is a healthy and delicious option that lets you enjoy the natural sweetness of grapes without any added artificial flavors or preservatives. Enjoy!
