Sandwich
Ingredients:
2 slices of your favorite bread (whole wheat, sourdough, etc.)
4-6 slices of roasted turkey breast
1 ripe avocado, sliced
2-3 lettuce leaves
2-3 tomato slices
2-3 slices of cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your preference)
Mustard or mayonnaise (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Prep the Ingredients:
Slice the avocado, tomato, and cheese.
Wash and dry the lettuce leaves.
Toast the Bread (Optional):
If you like your sandwich toasted, you can lightly toast the bread slices in a toaster or on a skillet.
Assemble the Sandwich:
Lay out one slice of bread on a clean surface.
If desired, spread a thin layer of mustard or mayonnaise on the bread for added flavor.
Layer the roasted turkey slices on top of the bread.
Add the Fillings:
Place the avocado slices evenly over the turkey.
Add the lettuce leaves on top of the avocado.
Place the tomato slices over the lettuce.
Layer the cheese slices over the tomato.
Season and Complete the Sandwich:
Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over the cheese layer for extra flavor.
Top with the Second Slice of Bread:
Place the second slice of bread on top of the cheese to complete the sandwich.
Cut and Serve:
