Ingredients:
For the Chicken Marinade:
- 1.5 lbs (680g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, sliced into thin strips
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Fajitas:
- 2 bell peppers, thinly sliced (use a mix of colors for visual appeal)
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- Olive oil for cooking
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Flour tortillas
- Sour cream

Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients: olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Add the sliced chicken to the marinade, making sure each piece is coated. Cover the bowl and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or ideally, a few hours.
- While the chicken is marinating, prepare the vegetables. Heat some olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced bell peppers and onions. Sauté until the vegetables are slightly softened and have some char marks. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
