Egg Sandwich

                                                             




Ingredients:


  • 2 eggs
  • 4 slices of bread (whole wheat, white, or your choice)
  • Butter or cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: cheese, sliced tomatoes, lettuce, cooked bacon, avocado, etc.

Instructions:


Prepare the Eggs:


Crack the eggs into a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper to taste.

Whisk the eggs until the yolks and whites are well combined.

Cook the Eggs:


Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat.

Add a small amount of butter or cooking oil to the skillet and let it melt.

Pour the whisked eggs into the skillet and let them cook undisturbed for a few moments until the edges start to set.

Scramble the Eggs:


Using a spatula, gently push the eggs from the edges toward the center of the skillet, allowing the uncooked portions to flow to the edges.

Continue this process until the eggs are mostly cooked but still slightly runny.

Assemble the Sandwich:


While the eggs are finishing cooking, toast the slices of bread to your desired level of crispiness.

Once the eggs are cooked to your liking, remove the skillet from the heat.

Place the cooked eggs onto one slice of the toasted bread.

Add Toppings:


If desired, add your choice of toppings such as cheese, sliced tomatoes, lettuce, cooked bacon, or avocado slices.

Top with Another Slice of Bread:


Place another slice of toasted bread on top of the toppings to create a sandwich.

Cut and Serve:


Use a sharp knife to cut the sandwich in half diagonally or straight across.

Serve your delicious egg sandwich with your favorite condiments, such as ketchup, hot sauce, or mayonnaise.
